Difference Makers: Spring 2025

2025 has already been an extraordinary year! We have welcomed new survivors into our program, celebrated the graduation of two residents, and introduced exciting updates to the WellHouse Women program. Through every milestone, our incredible volunteers have remained steadfast in their support and commitment to The WellHouse. We are deeply grateful to each of you who dedicate your time, energy, and effort to this mission.

I want to extend a special thank-you to our amazing volunteers serving on the Resident Services Team! Due to vacations, conferences, and open staff positions, we relied heavily on volunteers to provide much-needed house-sitting coverage—and you stepped up in remarkable ways. Since January, volunteers have contributed over 225 hours of house-sitting, an overwhelming testament to your generosity and dedication. If you were among those who served in this capacity, please know how much we appreciate you. Your willingness to fill in during a critical time made all the difference!

We are also incredibly grateful for those who lead life skills classes on campus. Your consistency and commitment play a vital role in preparing our residents for a healthy, independent future. Additionally, we celebrate our dedicated mentors—several of whom have recently completed training—who walk alongside residents in their healing journeys. Your impact is immeasurable, and we are so thankful for you.

Looking ahead, we are excited to welcome several volunteer groups to campus over the next few months. These teams will take on important projects such as painting, landscaping, and deep cleaning. Maintaining the beauty of our property requires significant effort, and we are incredibly blessed to have strong partnerships with churches and businesses that make this possible.

As we continue through this spring season and prepare our hearts for Easter, we ask that you join us in prayer for our residents. We believe the power of the cross and Christ’s resurrection will bring profound transformation to the women and children we serve. May this season remind them—and all of us—that God is in the business of resurrection, restoring hope and new beginnings.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your unwavering support. The WellHouse is truly blessed because of you!
