ProgramMING

Intake

The Intake process involves guiding survivors into our program. We collaborate with key partners, including the national, state, and local law enforcement agencies, recovery programs, non-governmental organizations, and outreach partners to respond to crisis calls and accept referrals. Additionally, we coordinate transportation to ensure victims are safely brought to our campus to begin their journey of healing.

The Immediate Shelter: Stabilization

The Immediate Shelter is a safe, peaceful environment conducive to rest where survivors' immediate physical needs are addressed- including food, shelter, and clothing. In this phase, survivors begin receiving medical care, therapeutic support, and case management services.

Grace and Mercy: Core Program

The Grace and Mercy Houses accommodate 10-12 survivors, offering a supportive environment for continued recovery. Survivors receive ongoing therapy, case management, recovery resources, legal aid, group therapy, life skills classes, and job skills training. Their spiritual needs are nurtured through Bible studies, chapel services, and mentorship. As part of their recovery journey, survivors are introduced to employment opportunities through our social enterprise, ShopWell. Medical and dental care continue throughout this phase, while survivors also begin educational pursuits such as obtaining a GED, enrolling in college courses, or pursuing technical training.

Next Steps to Independence: Transitional Living

In Next Steps to Independence, graduates of our program have the opportunity to transition into living arrangements in transitional apartments, where they continue to receive case management, therapy, mentorship, and recovery services. Vehicle assistance opportunities may also be available to support their independence. This phase empowers survivors to maintain long-term healing, achieve financial stability, and secure meaningful employment as they prepare for a successful future.
