What is your job title and what year did you come on staff at The WellHouse?
I am the WellHouse Woman Program Director and I have been on staff since 2022.
What is your favorite part about your job?
The best thing about my job is that I get a front row seat to watch our residents transform physically and spiritually during their restoration journey.
Tell us about your educational and professional experience that equips you to be successful in this field.
Prior to coming to The WellHouse, I was a Human Resources Director, for let’s just say 20+ years. So, serving and helping people is in my DNA.
Please share your favorite memory from your time working at The WellHouse.
I was able to attend a graduation ceremony just a couple of weeks after starting my new position. It really helped me to see and hear the progression that is possible for each of our residents.
Tell us about your journey coming into the anti-trafficking field and with The WellHouse.
I was involved with The WellHouse when it first started back in 2010. I loved volunteering on campus, helping with special projects, and spending time with the residents. When I moved back from Florida recently and was ready to look for kingdom work, The WellHouse was the fist place I contacted about available job openings, and here I am now!
How has working at The WellHouse impacted your life?
I love that God has specifically placed me here, and that I am able to witness daily His work on our ladies’ lives and see His transformations.
