What is your job title and what year did you come on staff at The WellHouse?
I am a Home Coordinator for WellHouse Women. I came on staff in March 2025 after almost a year serving as a volunteer.
What is your favorite part about your job?
One of my favorite things is when I walk in the door and get bombarded with hugs! I love having fun with the ladies and making them laugh! My goal is to make each lady feel special and loved and to share God’s love with them.
Tell us about your journey coming into the anti-trafficking field and with The WellHouse.
I found out about The WellHouse through a friend whose mother was leading the sewing ministry on campus. I have been sewing for over 20 years, and quilting for 2 years as well, so I thought it would be a fun ministry opportunity. Once I began to get to know the ladies, I realized that God wanted to use me in a bigger capacity than just teaching them to sew. I started volunteering as a house sitter, mentoring, and teaching a life skills class twice a month.
How has working at The WellHouse impacted your life?
God has truly blessed me through my time here at The WellHouse. I feel privileged to be able to love on, pray with, and walk alongside these ladies as they begin to heal from their trauma. I have the seen the Holy Spirit work more powerfully than I have ever witnessed in these ladies. My faith has been strengthened watching them grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord!
