What is your job title and what year did you come on staff at The WellHouse?
I work as a Home Coordinator in The Immediate Shelter program, and I have been on staff since November 2021.
What is your favorite part about your job?
The best part of my job is that I get the honor of encouraging the women in our programs through ministry moments. The team of professionals I work with on a daily basis are spirit-filled individuals who are sincerely committed and called to human trafficking restoration and healing.
Tell us about your educational and professional experience that equips you to be successful in this field.
I am first and foremost a mother and grandmother. Also, I have an Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies. Before coming to The WellHouse, I was a Paralegal for 17 years.
How has working at The WellHouse impacted your life?
From a ministry perspective, the Word of God has become more clear to me. From a personal perspective, I am seeking a greater level of humility, while at the same time moving into a different level of boldness. Each time I enter into a relationship with the residents, I am amazed at what the power of God can do to a person. Watching these women mature into who they really are is truly awesome.
