What is your job title and what year did you come on staff at The WellHouse?
I am the Finance Director here at The WellHouse, and I joined the staff in the Fall of 2022.
What is your favorite part about your job?
My favorite part of this job is being surrounded by staff and residents. There is such a genuine desire in everyone I have met to encourage and lift each other up. Being able to connect and work with such amazing people like that has been a blessing to me in so many ways.
Tell us about your educational and professional experience that equips you to be successful in this field.
My background is in finance. I trained under a business owner that I enjoyed working with for many years and obtained additional training and certification after that. I have owned and operated a business of my own as well. I enjoy this type of work very much.
Please share your favorite memory from your time working at The WellHouse.
Some of my favorite memories so far have been hearing the laughter and singing among the Residents while they gather for some of their classes. It makes me happy to hear and see the friendships they are building together.
How has working at The WellHouse impacted your life?
I’ve learned so much during my time here. I have seen God working in very powerful ways. I have felt a huge sense of comfort in knowing God has His hand all over this place and my life has been blessed by being allowed to be a part of such an amazing organization.
