Letter from the CEO: Spring 2019
At the recent National Trafficking Sheltered Alliance’s second annual conference, we had the opportunity to share our insight and learn from 150 other service providers in the anti-trafficking movement. Several WellHouse staff attended, and participating in the workshops brought reassurance that The WellHouse has not only moved to a new level of serving, but is doing so effectively and within standards of care that are best for a survivor of trafficking.
As we look toward the nearing completion of our transitional living apartment facility, opportunities to provide this new, deeper level of service will grow. These opportunities include transitional living for graduates of our long-term program, safe housing for mothers with children, complex trauma care, and the first phase of provisional care for trafficked youth.
These are God-sized blessings, dreams and visions which we are privileged to see come to pass. There is still much to be done, but we are determined to move toward a standard of excellence that allows the best path for healing and restoration take place.
We request your support of these efforts and look forward to growing partnerships for the good of the mission!
